About

As key members of the civil infrastructure team, you'll work on complex transport and utilities projects throughout Australia. These roles focus on delivering large-scale infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion. Considerable experience in civil construction, including bridges, roads, retaining walls, and underground utilities is essential for these positions. You'll collaborate closely with design teams and subcontractors while maintaining clear communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes. The positions encompass construction methodology development, resource management, quality assurance, and project delivery oversight.

Expectations

  • Manage and deliver large-scale transport and utilities infrastructure projects

  • Develop and implement construction methods, material selections, and quality standards

  • Coordinate procurement, material delivery, plant requirements, and labor resources

  • Create and manage project documentation including contracts, tenders, and progress reports

  • Review design drawings and manage cost planning and budget control measures

  • Oversee subcontractor work and ensure compliance with specifications

  • Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards

  • Develop safe work method statements and ensure regulatory compliance

Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • 2+ years' civil infrastructure project experience

  • Experience with transport and utilities sector projects

  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations

  • Excellent communication and resource management skills

  • Proven ability to manage teams and delegate effectively

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
