About
As a key member of the Major Projects team, you'll manage large-scale environmental remediation projects throughout Western Australia. This role focuses on delivering complex environmental solutions from initial planning through to completion. Considerable experience in environmental remediation, civil construction, and project management is essential for this position. You'll lead project teams while maintaining clear communication channels with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful environmental outcomes. The position encompasses project planning, contract management, budget control, and quality assurance through regular site supervision and stakeholder engagement.
Expectations
Lead and deliver major remediation projects valued at $10M+
Manage project budgets, contracts, and resource allocation
Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with environmental standards
Coordinate with technical teams and contractors
Ensure timely project delivery through effective team leadership
Implement best available technologies and techniques for site remediation
Drive positive environmental outcomes for private and public sector clients
Skills and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
7+ years' construction experience in remediation or environmental projects
Proven experience managing complex environmental projects
Strong contract and budget management capabilities
Demonstrated practical on-site supervision experience
High-level stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working with both private and public sector clients
Ability to work on a 9:5 roster
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment checks including medical screening and police checks
