Environmental Project/Senior Project Engineer

About
As a key member of our environmental engineering team, you'll work on complex civil and remediation projects throughout Australia. This role focuses on delivering environmental remediation and civil construction projects from initial concept through to completion. Considerable experience in environmental project management, including remediation techniques, civil construction, and regulatory compliance is essential for this position. You'll collaborate closely with project teams while maintaining clear communication channels with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful environmental outcomes. The position encompasses project management, documentation development, contractor oversight, and quality assurance through regular site inspections.
Expectations
Manage day-to-day delivery of large-scale remediation and civil projects
Develop and monitor project budgets and contract management
Create detailed documentation and specifications from concept to delivery
Oversee contractor work and maintain quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections and environmental compliance audits
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Ensure timely project delivery through effective team coordination
Skills and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
5+ years' construction experience in remediation and environmental projects
Demonstrated experience in contract and budget management
Strong practical on-site project management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
High-level organisational and time management abilities
Valid driver's license and flexibility to work site hours
