Structural Engineer

About
As a key member of the structural engineering team, you’ll work on complex residential and commercial developments throughout Australia. This role focuses on delivering multi-story building projects from initial concept through to completion. Considerable experience in structural systems, including reinforced and post-tensioned concrete and steel frameworks is essential for this position. You'll collaborate closely with the engineering and drafting teams while maintaining clear communication channels with clients, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The position encompasses structural analysis, documentation development, contractor oversight, and quality assurance through regular site inspections.
Expectations
Design and deliver large-scale residential and commercial multi-storey projects
Perform structural analysis and calculations for reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and steel structures
Create detailed documentation and specifications from concept to delivery
Review contractor submissions and shop drawings
Conduct site inspections and audits
Collaborate with architects, clients, and team members
Ensure timely project delivery through effective stakeholder communication
Skills and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
4+ years' structural design experience
Experience with mid to high-rise projects
Proficiency in RAPT, RAM Concept, Space Gass, ETABS, and Inducta
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and BCA
Excellent communication and time management skills
Experience with concrete, steel, and timber design
Valid CPEng registration preferred
