About
As a key member of the civil design team, you'll work on diverse infrastructure and development projects across Australia. This role focuses on delivering transportation, water management, and urban development projects from initial concept through to completion. Considerable experience in civil design systems, including hydraulic modeling, drainage design, and infrastructure development is essential for this position. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining clear communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes. The position encompasses civil analysis, documentation development, technical assessments, and quality assurance through regular site inspections.
Expectations
Design and deliver large-scale civil infrastructure and urban development projects
Perform hydraulic modeling, drainage design, and technical analyses
Create detailed documentation, reports, and specifications from concept to delivery
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Manage multiple projects while meeting critical deadlines
Ensure project success through effective stakeholder communication
Skills and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
3+ years' civil design experience
Experience with infrastructure and urban development projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and DRAINS
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and industry regulations
Excellent communication and project management skills
Experience in water management and transportation design
Proven ability to work in collaborative environments
